Growing method :
- Coco soils: To promote successful germination, start by soaking fertilized coco pellets in 5 to 6 times their volume of water: they will swell instantly. Don't forget to save a small quantity to cover the seeds after sowing.
- Planting: Plant the bulbs in the center of the pot, pointing upwards. Gently cover the bulbs with fertilized coco potting soil, leaving the tips sticking out.
- Watering: Ideally, use rainwater or filtered (chlorine-free) water. Prefer light rainfall watering, preferably with a sprayer, to keep the soil just moist, without soaking it with water, throughout cultivation. Think of the soil as a damp sponge that needs to drain. Don't let the soil dry out.
- Germination: Grow in a cool room, not under a glass or near a radiator, otherwise your clover will just grow into a stem. Clover germinates after 2 to 3 days.
- Transplanting: There's no need to transplant, as the crop can be sown or planted directly. If necessary, aerate by removing a few plants if your seedling is too dense.
- Harvesting: 4-leaf clover grows in 2 to 3 weeks and can regrow once the stems have been cut. Our advice: Place 4-leaf clovers in a well-lit spot, but not near a heat source, as soon as they are planted, to avoid the appearance of large, endless petioles that still bear the famous four leaves. Remember, too, to plant densely, with bulbs pressed together to create attractive arrangements.
